It’s thanks to teamwork that even the most difficult challenges can be faced, both at work and in everyday life. And it’s from collaboration and sharing of ideas, to achieve a common goal, that the most innovative and fascinating projects are born.
The MITI Team tried to concretely prove it by getting on their bikes to participate, once again this year, in L’Eroica, the re-enactment cycling race that since 1997 gathers cyclists from all over the world to celebrate, in the Tuscan valleys of Gaiole in Chianti, the values of a sport with ancient roots, made of passion, effort and commitment, combined with the enhancement of the environmental heritage and a sustainable lifestyle.
An approach that has always distinguished MITI’s production philosophy – Greenperfroming – and the mission that animates the work of its team every day: the will to achieve the best technical performance, but always with full respect for consumers and the Planet.
Sharing the spirit of the event, dedicated to promoting a cycling of the origins in all its aspects – from the choice of vintage bicycles to sportswear inspired by the past – also the MITI team has chosen a special uniform: garments made with fabrics innovative and green products by the company, but in an exceptional vintage version, for colors and design.
By directly experimenting with the technical and wearability characteristics of the products they helped to develop, MITI participants wore cycling garments based on the use Natural Match Technology, in the Woolmate option, perfect for facing the cool autumn temperatures and a sports activity of great physical endurance and fatigue. This solution, in fact, combines the high performance, elasticity and abrasion resistance typical of nylon fibers, with the soft touch, the breathability and the excellent thermal and drying properties of 100% extra-fine merino virgin wool.
The result was a weekend full of fun, celebrating all together the love for classic cycling and the purest traditions. Two days spent cycling in the midst of wonderful nature that today, with an eye to the future, we must not forget to protect, promoting a sustainable and virtuous way of acting and living.
