A few days ago, the spring summer edition of Première Vision came to a close in Paris. The premium international event for the fashion world is not only an important opportunity for trade contacts and meetings, but also a real laboratory of innovation covering the latest trends, inspirational sources and ideas for the seasons to come.
This edition was no exception and one of the keywords continues to be eco-sustainability: an authentic revolution that is sweeping through the entire textile industry and – in particular – the world of fashion, with great technological innovations such as fabrics endowed with accelerated biodegradation and blends with high performing merino wool, not to mention an ever increasing demand for the certified sustainability and innovation of manufacturing processes.
A predominant trend, added to which is the realization that, in recent times, fashion invests an increasing amount of attention and engagement in the opportunities offered by technical fabrics specifically designed for sports activities and outdoor wear.
It is no coincidence, therefore, that one of the specialist areas which aroused most interest during the event was that of Sport & Tech, in whose bike and urban section M.I.T.I. exhibited garments made out of some of the most representative fabrics of its Power, FreshFeel and High Resolution technologies.
